If you experiencing a sewer blockage, call us before you call a plumber. By reporting the drainage problem to us we can investigate the problem.
If we find a problem within Council's main, we will clear the blockage at no charge to you. If we discover the problem is not in the mains, we will advise you to contact a plumber.
Signs of a blocked sewer may include:
- Toilets, basins, baths or tubs are slow to empty or make gurgling noises
- Toilets fill higher than usual or overflow
- Yard gully overflows when the toilet is flushed or when basins or baths are released
Please note: Call us immediately on (02) 4429 3214 if you are currently experiencing a sewer overflow. We are available 24/7 and will get a team out to investigate as soon as possible.
